The Gospels – The Gospel According to John
The process of the Judgment
John 3:19-20 And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For every one who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
As explained earlier, here Jesus described the process of the Judgment in clear terms. The unprecedented surge of Light into the entire Creation through the arrival of the Son of Man puts everything in motion in this Creation, even that which would wish to hide. That which would wish to hide of course are the works of the darkness. These works will not be able to hide anymore. All the evil lurking within human beings will be activated so that they may act in accordance with their nature and will be exposed for all to see. It is of no avail for those who wish to hide, the Light will reach them and they will forced to act in ways that correspond to their inner being. If they had previously been protected through their comfortable earthly circumstances, these will be taken away so as to allow them to show themselves.
For those, however, who are good, these have nothing to fear. Nothing but good will come from within them as they do not harbour any evil within. The good that they harbour within will also be exposed for all to see and for them to be shown to be children of God through their activities.
